This 2 car attached garage additions project located in Walpole Ma was attached to the side of the home where they already had a small laundry room addition, and a set of entrance stairs to the existing kitchen. The client wanted the garage large enough for 2 cars and storage for bicycles and lawn equipment and extra storage space with an area inside this garage which they would use for a mudroom.
Excavation process started, for attached 2 car garage additions project in Walpole Ma, the existing small addition will remain, we will tie in the new garage rear roof into this small laundry room addition.
The garage additions foundation is installed, and ready to start the framing of the new 2 car attached garage.
The Walpole garage additions ceiling height will be the same height as the existing first floor ceiling in the home, were required to do this in order to provide head room while using the stairs to access the home from the garage, this also allows for space for a lot of extra storage.
We finished the exterior with vinyl siding to match the existing home, along with vinyl windows and a custom 18’ wide garage door, with a front and rear exterior access door to this new Walpole garage addition.

Also installed a new patio walk way to their just built new rear deck.
This picture shows an LVL support beam (laminated veneer lumber) which the client will use in the future for a loft storage area.
Plenty of storage space and an extra wide garage door for easier maneuvering in & out of the new 2 car garage addition.
New stair case for access to home, this is the reason for higher ceiling in the garage, and there is also extra space for a garage mudroom.
